40 Days for Life Concluding Programs - Weekly Update 4 - Spring Campaign Ends Sunday, March 28th

March 26, 2010 - See this week's update from Mary Clark, Greater Cincinnati 40 Days for Life campaign leader and information on closing events for this Spring campaign (updated participating groups listed at end):

----
It's hard to believe that the 40 Days for Life Spring '10 campaign concludes on Sunday, March 28. We are ending strong this weekend. If you're thinking about coming to Planned Parenthood to pray between 7am today, Friday, until 7pm on Saturday you will not be alone. Individuals and church groups are scheduled during that entire time.

In order to cover Saturday for the complete twenty-four hours we need people to cover anytime from 7pm until midnight. On Sunday, March 28, we will also have coverage during the daylight hours but wouldn't it be wonderful if we could end 40 Days for Life with complete coverage on that last day also? If you are a night owl we need you anytime from midnight until 7am, March 28 and from 7pm to midnight.

I would like to thank everyone who sacrificed to stand in prayer at Planned Parenthood during this campaign. Those early weeks were brutally cold and snowy but I never heard a complaint. God bless you all whether you came once, weekly, daily or as often as you could. Thanks to the church captains who were responsible for helping their fellow parishioners and friends experience the power of public witness for life to the community.

Not everyone could come in person to the abortion site but I know there were faithful friends for Life who through fasting and prayer lifted all of our intentions up at home and in church. Some of you have let me know that you wished you could have joined us at the abortion site but it was not possible at this time. God knows of your longing to personally witness to the sanctity of life in public and you will be blesssed.

We don't want this momentum to fade. I will be announcing through email our plans to keep up some presence at the abortion site between 40 Days campaigns. Those who enter the abortion facilities after the 40 Days campaign ends also need our love and prayers.

In the meantime, I hope you can join us either at Burnet Woods at 2pm on Sunday, March 28 for the Way of Love rosary procession and simple concluding celebration of 40 Days for Life or at Planned Parenthood that same day at either 3:30 pm or 5:30 pm for prayers of thanksgiving for the blessings received throughout this 40 Days for Life campaign.

Thank you for praying!

Mary
